The residency and installation were produced in collaboration with Vanderbilt’s Black Mountain College Symposium.

“Untitled” is a simple creation story of friends coming together where they are with what they have available to them, an experiment in “seeing what’s there” amidst life’s challenges. I worked with Curtis Thomas in New Dialect for several years, a life season of growing pains and profound connections. Our time creating “Untitled” came amidst hardships in our lives and this duet is a reflection on friendship and interconnectedness.
